I think my parents will die virgins bless them. There is no reason why churches cannot have computers that are networked and allow access to them.

Apparently the British government wants the public to help get the nation online. At the digisymp conference there was some discussion about helping Christians to catch up with digital media. Is this a good pretext to do that? Could it even have a...
Nah, they just wanted to take one of their servers down for a while, and suspending your account was the easiest way to halve their bandwidth requirements.
I hope it gets sorted soon.
I also have to say that this, along with Mark Brown's Facebook suspension, isn't helping to convince me that giving huge companies with their own agenda total control over my own content and ministry is what I most wan...

Hi Mark, yes the laptop is still being demanding and childish and refusing to left click if it's not given some attention when it boots up. I've not taken it apart to see what the problem is yet though.
Now see Mark, if we'd taken that conversation about which Church I go to in the mornings in Winchester, we would have realised that we both know Neil who you used to work with in evangelism on the streets! He's now Pastor of North Winchester Community Church, which is where we're planning this new 'gathering' thing! Meantime, on Thursday I am heading to the Loire Valley (nearest town Blois I think) to cook for 82 people til 1st Aug, then a 4 day retreat (I hope), then loading 90 bicycles onto a lorry before driving down to Provence near Pont d'Avignon to unload to bicycles and ensure the campsite is somewhat ready for the next trip before getting on the coach back to the UK for Monday - phew. Never driven in France (or that side of the road), what's the tips :-) And am I just round the corner from you there? :-)
Ahh... was about to write pretty much exactly the sentiments of Sir Ulfilas below. And he beat me to it. What can I say but a newbie-ish 'ditto'. Except I did put lots of buttons in your dish and now feel strangely smug about it :)
Having read your article on Ship of Fools I have to take my hat off to you sir. A marvellous piece of writing :) Thanks. I only wish now that we'd put our chocolate buttons in your dish!
